Q. I want to get an idea of where the Venues are in relation to each other. Are there maps that would provide this information? A. See the “Venue Map” menu link within the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games Offerings section of the CoSport website or visit the Maps section at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games website.
Q. How much time should I allot for transfers between Venues?A. When choosing Events, you should make sure there is no overlap in time, and allow two to three (2-3) hours between Events on the same day. Several Venues are not in the city of Vancouver, so please keep in mind travel time between Venues and any other unforeseen delays. For these events at Venues outside of the city of Vancouver, please note that you will NOT be able to pick your tickets up at the venue.
Q. Will there be public transportation to the Venues?
A. Within the city of Vancouver there is a Sky Train and Canada Line system for the public to use. For best information, please visit the Transportation section at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games website. CoSport will also offer Hospitality Packages that include transportation to the Venues.
Q. I plan to drive to Vancouver. Will there be parking at my package hotel? Do I have to reserve in advance? What are the costs? A. We do not suggest driving to Vancouver due to increased Games-time traffic. Please email your parking request to cosport@cosport.com. We will check the parking availabilities and costs with the hotels for you. Please note the parking fees (if any) are in addition to your package costs.
Q. Can we drive and park at the venues?A. No, parking will not be available at the venues and many of the roads in the area will be closed or limited during the Games. If you are bringing your car into the area, we suggest looking into the "Park and Ride" services as well as all the available options of public transportation being put into place for the Games. We are currently working on developing detailed information regarding public transportation. Please check back on our website for updates.
Q. What are the costs of public transportation?A. Free transportation is available for ticket holders on the day of their event (you will have to show your ticket); however, there is a minimal charge on the Olympic Bus network for rides between Whistler, Cypress and Vancouver (CAD$12-22/person). Downtown Vancouver is connected to the airport via rail (CAD$7) and the event venues will be connected via bus network. More specific information will be available on our site in the coming months as well as through Translink.

Q. What types of seating are available?A. Reserved seating - All Venues have reserved seating which assigns each ticket holder a specific seat. The number of Price Categories offered per sport depends on the configuration and capacity of each Venue. Mountain Venues and the Cypress Mountain Venue have substantially more standing room tickets than reserved seating.
